SLIP+ for States Addition of Arkansas & XML and CSV Updates Beginning January 1, 2027

SLIP+ for States will implement changes to the XML Schema and CSV batch format, required for use beginning January 1, 2027. Updated batch documentation is available currently on the batch filing page of SLIP+ for States. 

SLIP+ for States XML Schema Updates for v1.9 

• Addition of Arkansas as a participating member state. 
• Addition of TaxStatus element at the Transaction level 
• The RiskAddress node will now be required for all states. This node was previously optional for the member states listed below:
  • Alabama
  • Kansas
  • Montana
  • Tennessee
  • Wyoming

The following elements have been deprecated and will now be optional. Please note that these elements will be removed from the schema in a subsequent update:

• PolicyType element
• StateAllocations Node which includes the following elements: 
  • StateAllocation
  • State
  • PremiumAllocation
  • PolicyFeeAllocation
  • ProducerFeeAllocation
  • TaxStatus - Transaction level TaxStatus element must be used if this is omitted

SLIP+ for States CSV Layout changes for v1.4

• Implementation of Arkansas CSV layout
• RiskAddress related fields are now required for all member states
