First Quarter Deadline for Foreign Insurers and 2025 Annual Reporting for Alien Insurers
Foreign insurers must report their 1Q 2026 policy data for all policy transactions effective during the period of January 1, 2026, through March 31, 2026, to SLIP+ for Florida by June 30, 2026. Any transactions submitted after this deadline will be considered late.
Alien insurers must submit their annual report for any policy transactions effective from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025, by June 30, 2026. Any transactions submitted after this deadline will be considered late.
Catastrophe Contact
Thank you for updating your Catastrophe Contact Information before the start of Florida’s hurricane season.
This information helps the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (OIR), the Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS), and FSLSO coordinate effectively in the event of catastrophic damage in Florida.
Direct Procurement Policies
Direct procurement policies, also known as independently procured coverage (IPC) policies, should be reported in SLIP+ for Florida.
This data helps reconcile premiums written by non-admitted insurance companies with premiums reported by agents, brokers, or insureds to ensure all policies are filed and the appropriate taxes are collected for the corresponding state entity.
