AICIS authorisation now required for decaBDE and PFOA-related compounds

You must apply for authorisation to import or export decabromodiphenyl ether (decaBDE), perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and its salts, and PFOA-related compounds. This applies to both current and future importers and exporters of these chemicals.

Registration renewals for 2023-24 opening mid-August 

We'll let you know when we've opened online registrations in the business portal. The new registration year starts on 1 September 2023.

Reminder: Call for information

We are collecting information from anyone who has imported or exported decaBDE or PFOA, its salts or PFOA-related compounds at any time after 30 June 2022. Your information will not be shared outside of AICIS.

Due date is 15 September 2023
