The CIF has published an updated version of its Blue Box Transition Implementation Checklist for Communities. Initially released on April 24, 2023, this updated document can be found on the CIF Transition Portal.

The version released today has been updated to reflect new guidance and information from CMO and RPRA, as well as new resources that have been developed by CIF and learnings from British Columbia and Ontario communities. It has a V2 symbol to signify wherever an update or change was made.

The checklist is intended to help staff identify:

• who will be impacted,
• how they will be impacted, and
• policies, procedures or promotions needed to ensure a smooth transition.

CIF will continue to update the Implementation Checklist with lessons learned from across the Province, as the first communities begin to transition in the coming weeks and months.
