Point32Health Foundation Partners with LISC to Support Healthy Aging

This Healthy Aging Month, we want to highlight Point32Health Foundation as a partner that supports, advocates, and advances healthier lives for everyone, especially through supporting community-led solutions that advance healthy aging. As the philanthropic arm of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan, the Foundation serves five New England states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.

Focusing on systems change, the Foundation invests in organizations that advance community building and improve conditions for older adults. The latest Foundation grants supported LISC’s HEZ projects in Pawtucket and Central Falls related to mental health and older adult nutrition, which are essential elements of healthy aging. Build America, Buy America: Compliance & Waivers Training

Cap Ex Advisory Group is presenting a Build America, Buy America (BABA) training on Tuesday, September 22 from 12-2pm EDT.

BABA requires use of domestically-produced materials in many federally-funded projects. This free training will be practical, not theoretical. This is designed for developers, contractors, and agency staff administering BABA and will cover compliance and the waiver process. The training will discuss common challenges, lessons learned in the field, and strategies that help project teams avoid costly surprises, reduce risk, and keep projects moving.
