Enjoy a FREE music festival (2.30-5.30pm) under marquees (safe from the Tassie weather) to hear the Tasmanian Leather Orchestra, featuring the incredible leather (yes leather!) instruments of the late great artist, Gary Greenwood; jig away to the heart-pumping trad Irish Music quartet the “KHG Trio” with Special Guest Leueen Morgan (Kearney, Higgins & Gleeson), then chill with the sounds of the Geraldine Gray Jazz Quartet. Rascal Robots Art Space and Interweave Arts will keep your kids happy with mask painting, giant bubbles, improvised music and unexpected things with paper balloons! Food and beverage stalls will offer a glass of something, a bite to eat so you can connect with friends while the kids have some FREE fun! Entry is FREE to see and hear the winners who will be Zooming in from around Australia. All the short films will be screened continuously for FREE as well at the QVMAG auditorium at Inveresk until 30 May. On Saturday night the award winning Alick and Albert film will also play at the Tramsheds Theatre, Inveresk Precinct. Alick Tipoti is a famous Torres Strait Island artist who convinces Prince Albert of Monaco to visit him at Badu Island and help them face threats from rising sea levels and pollution.
