This course is offered to both undergraduate and graduate students to give students a better understanding of real-world applications of communication and peace studies research. A big thank you to Dr. Janicke-Bowles for all her hard work in running the travel course!

Frank Meyskens' Speaking Event: March 25 from 12-1PM at AF 209C

The use of the Prose narrative either as the author or the reader(or listener)  has become a useful and effective mechanism for preventing Caregiver " burnout". Also, improvement in caregiver/patient interaction using a prose narrative has been partially successful in enhancing communication in the clinical setting.

However, the existential component is either not acknowledged nor addressed. The structural components that define existence will then be briefly reviewed in and of themselves and as part of larger existential frameworks.

Dr. Meyskens will read several of his poems(copies will also be provided) -first providing the context in which they were written and then reading and taking and answering questions at a level in which a general communication audience can participate.
