St. Johns Cultural Council receives NEA grant to support funding program for artists and organizations

The Cultural Council has been selected for a $60,000 Grants for Arts Projects award from the National Endowment for the Arts to support a new  program - Arts for All - to provide funding for St. Johns County-based artists and cultural organizations to create new works and expanded arts programming of any genre.

Although the Cultural Council has a long history of grants administration, funding for projects not strongly related to tourism has been limited. This program will specifically support locally focused projects, with 100% of the  NEA award invested into our cultural community.

We welcome additional donations to expand the program!

Applications will be open from October 1st through November 15th, 2023 for projects occurring between January 1st and December 31st, 2024.

Grant workshops and training will be held in September and October 2023, with dates to be announced soon.
