Join us for Whiskers in Wonderland on Saturday, December 3, 2022!We hope you will join us at 34 Hamilton Avenue in Oyster Bay from 12 p.m.-5 p.m. for our Whiskers in Wonderland open house event. There will be cats of all sizes and colors available for adoption. If you aren't looking to adopt, you can sponsor cat and receive a personalized ornament with your sponsee's name (or your own cat's name) on it. These not only make great stocking stuffers but are perfect for those hard-to-buy for cat lovers. Tours of the shelter will be given to anyone who would like to see our facility. We will be serving cider and cookies. We hope to see you there! June was being fed outside a home by a resident on Long Island until the resident had to move. The new owner wanted the cats GONE. Rescuers stepped in and attempted to move the feeding stations but June kept running back home. We saw the heartbreaking video of June running back to the only home she has ever known and contacted the rescue group to see if we could help. When June arrived, she was in need of dental surgery (which she recovered from beautifully). She does not seem to have any other health concerns. June is a total sweetheart who is great with other cats and with people. She is very mellow and content to just have a cozy bed. June is available through our Seniors for Seniors program where we cover her reasonable future medical expenses for any approved senior citizen that adopts her. Adopt a Senior - the love you get in return is all the love you'll need. Text TPHL to 89871 to donate! |
