In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Flinders Screen Production staff Dr Tom Young, Helen Carter and Dr Matt Hawkins have created the short film, Isolation.  The film is a poetic visualisation of the actual diary of a teenager, currently being written as COVID-19 unfolds. Read more >

We've all been thrust into new states of being, our vocabulary now regularly including the words Isolation and Quarantine. The 2020 3MT competition is up and running and will be held online this year. It is a fun and exciting way to develop your communication skills, counts towards your Mid-Candidature Milestone and helps you illustrate your research impact to the wider community. Read more >

The first National Innovation Game for SA was held on the 7 May 2020. Due to social distancing restrictions, the event was run virtually. Matthew Iasiello from the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Flinders University joined in the game and won Frist Place together with his team. Congratulations, what a great achievement! The Doctoral Graduate Attributes describe the core skillsets a PhD enables you to build.  They are useful for reflecting on the skills you are developing through your research and to help identify the areas you want to improve. Incorporating skills for both academic and non-academic careers, you can also utilise them to apply for scholarships, grants, jobs and other opportunities.  Read more >.

Did you know that you have HDR student representatives at both, the College level and the University HDR Committee? These students are here to help you with any HDR candidature matters. The University HDR Committee is also an important sub-committee of the Academic Senate. Read more >

HDR students are now able to book individual appointments with OGR staff members through the OGR Appointments button in the REST FLO Site. You can book up to three appointments at one time with any of our four teams.
