We are delighted to announce that Volume 26 Issue 1 of the Asia Pacific Journal of Environmental Law (APJEL) is now available in print and via Elgaronline.

The first issue of APJEL in the 2023 volume features articles on assessing and managing ‘loss and damage’ in the context of climate change in Bangladesh; participatory forest governance in Bangladesh; modern slavery as a ‘hidden obstacle’ to achieving climate justice in the Asia Pacific region; environmental impact assessment, overlapping jurisdictions and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge; and considering China’s authoritarian approach to constructing ‘ecological civilization’.
