No images? Click here Indonesia's ongoing battle with tuberculosis This week, we published an analysis of the country's efforts to eradicate tuberculosis. The authors point out that the biggest challenge for Indonesia is that the nation needs more money to fight the disease. They suggest Indonesia needs to triple its funding to fight tuberculosis. We also translated an investigative story by our sister edition, The Conversation UK, on a massive green energy project that displaces locals from their homes in remote Rempang island, part of Riau Islands province. The author, Nikita Sud, of the University of Oxford, opened our eyes to the dark side of energy transition. Rempang case shows how a green project that should empower locals has displaced people from their roots. It is 109 days before Indonesia's general and presidential election next year, and we encourage academics and researchers to send us pitches for our special election coverage. Warmest, Ika Krismantari
