Hi all, 2024 has really started off with a bang here at QA Cafe. In addition to the launch of our new NTA3000 platform for CDRouter with Wi-Fi 7 support, we’ve also been fielding your requests for prpl Foundation’s HL-API certification. Needless to say, we’ve been very busy! Here’s a look at what has been going on since the new year started. The NTA3000 is here!QA Cafe has launched our next greatest update to CDRouter’s capabilities through the NTA3000 hardware platform! The NTA3000 is the most advanced CDRouter platform to date, featuring fully automated Wi-Fi 7 testing and high-performance throughput capabilities. It’s tailored to address the growing complexity and performance demands of today's broadband gateways and Wi-Fi products, ensuring devices are market-ready with optimal quality and reliability. Read more about the features here, and ask us about an upgrade! CDRouter is now fully integrated with RDK Automatics test automation! The Automatics test framework used for automated testing of RDK-B-based broadband gateways and Wi-Fi devices now has fully integrated support for QA Cafe’s CDRouter test solution. This is exciting news, as developers can now gain comprehensive feature and performance test coverage of their RDK-B implementations in one framework. Curious about how to get the most use of this integration? Reply to this newsletter to find out more! Prpl Foundation HL-API CertificationThe prpl Foundation launched its High-Level API Certification late last year. We’ve had many questions about it since then and have worked with prpl on an informative webinar on prpl Certification, including a summary overview of what you need to know. Looking towards the future of test and analysisWhen things go wrong, dashboards can tell you there's a problem, but they often can't tell you why. What can packet captures give us beyond the dashboard? In this article, we explore some of the reasons it is important to give customers of cloud-managed network and cybersecurity dashboards direct access to pcaps. We have some good news coming soon on this topic, so stay tuned! As we learned with the addition of Wi-Fi 7 support in the NTA3000, much emphasis is put on radio-layer performance testing for Wi-Fi 7 devices. But what are the critical things to test in your product to comprehensively qualify them for development? In this video, our CWNA expert Brian Dubreuil covers the main types of testing that can be done with Wi-Fi 6/6e and Wi-Fi 7 devices in CDRouter, using the NTA3000 platform’s Wi-Fi 7 capabilities. A Deep Dive into Apache ActiveMQ Exploitation It was recently reported that Apache ActiveMQ was vulnerable to a critical attack, allowing attackers to run arbitrary shell commands. In this article, Tom Peterson dissects the details of the vulnerability affecting Apache ActiveMQ using an example packet capture.
