Council to consult public about extra money for arenaKia ora, We’d like to let you know that the Council has given its approval for public consultation to begin on whether it should add extra money to the budget for Canterbury’s multi-use arena, Te Kaha. The consultation just opened today at midday, and will close on Tuesday 5 July. The consultation will run online through the Council’s Have Your Say webpage. The Council will consider the public feedback it receives during the consultation period along with expert advice, financial reports and other relevant information when it meets on Thursday 14 July, to decide the next steps for the arena project.
