Welcome to the February newsletter

Dear
A very warm welcome to the February newsletter. In a month where we celebrate LGBT+ history, we were very proud to share the story of staff member and alumna Emma Turner-Lindley (Spanish and Media, 2001). Emma is Head of Admissions and reflected on how things have changed over the years. Read more.
On Monday 20 February, the Leeds Trinity community gathered in the Atrium to reflect and pray for those affected by the devastation in Turkey and Syria following the earthquakes. We also had an 'auction of promises' to raise funds for the victims. Our thoughts and prayers go to all affected. Read more.

Featured alumni — Elizabeth Cunningham
Elizabeth graduated from our first ever MSc Applied Custodial Leadership cohort in 2022, as part of the Unlocked Graduates programme.
Highlights for Elizabeth included the course structure, the friendships she made throughout the course and how everyone has kept in touch. She was also able to take advantage of a placement for two weeks shadowing at Snake River Correctional Institution in Ontario, Oregon:
"I had the most incredible opportunity to shadow and witness life and work in an American correctional facility. Alongside the correctional staff, there were also Norwegian correctional Officers who shared their insight on Norwegian facilities and how effective they are." Read Elizabeth's alumni profile
