Streamlining HDR International Travel ApprovalsThe Office of Graduate Research (OGR) have recently implemented a streamlined approach to international travel approvals for HDR students. This update simplifies the process for both students and supervisors. Key updates include a revised application form that no longer requires it being sent to the OGR and the principal supervisor will be the sole approver for DFAT Level 1 and 2 countries. Each week, there is a different focus on a REST skill, and students get together with our HDR Education Advisor, Dr Amy Butler to discuss the topic and ask questions. Each session is help in HDR Central and online, and the content is recorded for students to review in the future. HDR Thesis Writing Discussion Group - MonthlyDo you feel a little lost in your thesis writing? Finding the process isolating and stressful? Come long to our Thesis Writing Discussion Groups to connect with other students and workshop through some of the common barriers all students face in the process. Led by the HDR Education Coordinator Dr Dani Milos, these groups allow students to connect, discuss their research and learn from and support each other. The group meets online every four weeks, and all are welcome. Getting Started with your HDR: REST and Inspire - 2 SepHave you recently started your HDR and not sure where to start? Come along to the Getting Started workshop! This workshop is aimed at commencing HDR students, and provides a general overview the Research and Employability Skills Training (REST) Program and Inspire, the online candidature management system.
