The Board has found an Instagram advertisement which shows two cars racing from a set of traffic lights to breach the FCAI Code for motor vehicle advertising.

Too scary for kids

Advertising for a horror movie was seen by the Board to be inappropriate for an on-demand TV audience which would include children, but appropriate for an adult audience on free-to-air TV.

Complainant pushes back

The Board has dismissed complaints about violence in a perfume advertisement on both TV and Pay TV which depicted a brief scene of a woman pushing somebody.

Disease prevention ads given all clear

The Board has dismissed a complaints against an advertisement for shingles prevention which shows a woman with a rash on her face, and a series of transport advertisements for sexual health which depict men in their underwear.
