Wai Tūwhera o te Taiao e-pānui

Poutū-te-rangi / May

Nau mai haere mai ke te pānui tuatahi mō te kaupapa Wai Tūwhera o te Taiao. Welcome to the first edition of our monthly newsletter for Wai Tūwhera o te Taiao – Open Waters Aotearoa.

We are excited to share this newsletter which is designed for you, as one of the groups, hapū or schools taking part in this programme.

Each month we will feature one of your unique stories, to showcase your awesome mahi and to help you connect with other groups sharing this journey.

We will also keep you in the loop about how the programme is going, including times for drop-in Zoom sessions for kōrero and questions.

We look forward to connecting with you again soon,

Wai Tūwhera o te Taiao team at the EPA

What's new

Last month, all participants should have received their kits, and these are slowly flowing back into the lab. Make sure you fill out the submission form after you take your sample.

It’s up to you whether you make your data publicly available on the map. You can decide at this point, or later.

How did we do?

We're keen to know your thoughts and whakaaro on our recent webinars, so we've designed a quick survey for you (it only requires a few minutes).

The survey is carried out by a specialist third-party survey provider. It is also voice enabled so you can record your feedback instead of typing it (if your device allows it).

We will be closely reviewing your feedback to improve our future webinars.
