CRGV update - 30th November

Unfortunately, we have to confirm a further two cases of cutaneous renal glomerular vasculopathy (often termed CRGV and sometimes known as Alabama Rot). The cases were from Eastleigh (Hampshire) and Pontypridd (Rhondda Cynon Taf).

This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 250 since 2012, with 46 in 2020.

For help recognising some of the signs, and to see a map of confirmed cases, please click the button below.

Dental service reminder

Don't forget about our new dental service, which is led by Matthew Oxford - one of only a handful of Veterinary Dentists in the UK.

The service covers routine and emergency work as well as more complex dental and oral surgery cases.

Fixing Louis' femur

Louis was referred to Anderson Moores in November last year after becoming lame on his left hind leg.

Louis had a fracture repair performed on the same leg in 2015 so his owners were understandably worried that something had gone wrong. Radiographs (x-rays) were taken which revealed a problem and Louis required surgical correction to remove the old implants and insert new implants. Click the button below to find out more.
