SAVE THE DATE FOR THE CREATE-A-THON!

June 25-July 15

Do you have a Create-A-Thon workshop idea?

Let us know!

A Note from the ED

Last year we hosted our Inaugural Create-A-Thon and we couldn't have asked for a better event!  We reached out to ALL the Peace Pods and learned more about you. We also boosted our inventory with beautiful, warm items for winter, and we broke our fundraising goal!  All because of YOU!

This year we will be hosting the Create-A-Thon again from June 25th to July 15th.  It will be a virtual event, much like last year. However in 2023, we are working to bring you workshops and other community-building events during the event.

Do you have a great idea for a workshop? Do you want to host a workshop for our maker community?  Let me know at kelly@knitting4peace.org! I would love to hear your ideas! These workshops will be online so you can be anywhere in the world and attend.

We are grateful for the year-round support you show for our programming, and we couldn't do it without your help.  Let's make this year even better!

Watch for more Create-A-Thon details in the upcoming newsletters and on our social media channels!

Gratefully-

Kelly

South Shore Peace Pod

The South Shore Peace Pod in Massachusetts is a dedicated Peace Pod making regular community donations in Knitting4Peace's name. It's always a great day when we get an email from Terri and Cindy letting us know the impact the Pod has made.

They make regular deliveries to Health Imperatives in Brockton, MA. as well as to the VA Hospital in Brockton.

Health Imperatives runs a domestic abuse women’s shelter, in addition to supporting survivors of sexual violence, human trafficking, and providing support to LGBTQ youth, sexual and reproductive health and support to young parents.

We are grateful for the South Shore Peace Pod and the value they add to our community!

K4P's Most Needed Items:

Mittens

We need to prep for 2023's winter weather by replenishing our mitten stock and we need your help!  We are requesting mittens for ages 6-12 years old and adult sizes.  Can you believe we already have 1,000 requested for late Fall 2023!?

The weather may be warming up but now is the time to prepare for those cold winter nights.
