Each year since 1945 the Children’s Book Council of Australia (CBCA) has brought children and books together across Australia through CBCA Book Week. During this time public libraries and schools spend one glorious week celebrating books and Australian children's authors and illustrators. This year’s theme, “Dreaming with eyes open” is perfect to spark your little one’s imagination and interest in reading. This month we encourage you to spend some time discovering the wealth of children and young adult resources in your libraries and help bring words, images and stories into the hearts and minds of young people and adults.
