In 2021, the Office of Graduate Research (OGR) and Properties, Facilities and Development (PFD) were successful in securing University Capital Infrastructure Plan funds for a project entitled: HDR Space Upgrade. This is a whole of institution project that focusses on uplifting HDR spaces in consultation with the HDR Space Program Working Group comprising members from OGR, PFD and Colleges to effectively identify HDR space requirements and opportunities. We’re pleased that the 2021 funds have been allocated for improvements to HDR rooms in SSN and Physical Sciences (SE). A submission for further funding in 2022 has been made.

The annual 3MT competition has reached its final stages, with the best and brightest Flinders University PhD students competing via virtual presentations for their chance to compete in the competition’s Asia-Pacific finals.
