This was an opportunity to share the progress so far of our eight mini projects funded through our Network. One year on, each project shared exciting developments and insights into their research, highlighting the diverse and innovative approaches shaping the future of sustainable fibres. The event also provided a fantastic opportunity for networking, sparking new conversations and collaborations across disciplines. There was real appetite, energy and enthusiasm to work together, to, for example, educate the wider public about sustainable fashion. We need to provide evidence to secure future funding and progress. The commercial viability of scaling up these mini projects was also discussed. We will share more details in our next newsletter.
