Staff Change at CIF

Farewell and Many Thanks to Carrie Nash

Please join us in saying farewell, thank you and best wishes to CIF Managing Director, Carrie Nash. Carrie has been with the CIF for over 10 years, helping municipalities implement many efficiency and effectiveness initiatives and more recently, supporting the municipal transition of the Blue Box Program to Ontario’s new producer responsibility regulatory framework. At the end of the month, Carrie will join Circular Materials as their Senior Transition Manager, where her role will be to continue supporting municipalities as they engage with Circular Materials on the new Blue Box Program.

Carrie’s last day with CIF will be April 27, 2023. To facilitate continued operations and an effective transition, CIF has begun actively searching for Carrie’s replacement.

To alleviate any perceived or potential conflict of interest arising from Carrie’s future role with Circular Materials, Carrie has recused herself from all substantive CIF work effective April 7, 2023. With her time remaining, Carrie will focus on developing transition materials for the new Managing Director, and work with CIF Project Manager, Jessica Landry, to support the 2023 deliverables.
