ICT International’s focus is always on the sensing, our approach to IoT is agnostic; providing a suite of IoT Nodes which will support the most appropriate sensors for the application while also providing the best form of connectivity for the installation site and monitoring network. ICT International’s implementation of IoT is guided by over 30 years’ experience in using scientific research to develop opportunities for the measurement and monitoring of plant, soil, and environmental parameters for the benefit of the wider community. Split into the following 4 downloadable sections, the IoT Catalogue 2021 provides information on the sensors and applications, demonstrated through case studies. For more information on the ICT International range of IoT sensors and solutions, please contact ICT International: sales@ictinternational.com.au IoT Case Study: Smart ParksImproving irrigation management and the associated water use, researchers reduced water use and minimised the leaching of nutrients into the Great Barrier Reef Catchment. Using IoT and the ICT International range of sensors, researchers buried both sensors and nodes for tamper-proof monitoring in an urban environment. Use of IoT allowed integration into the ARDC Nectar Research Cloud, where researchers were able to visualise the data using the Chronograf dashboard, as well sending alerts based on high or low soil moisture content.
