Answers to last minute registration questions, i.e., what happens if my advisee doesn't register by the deadline?

April 18, 2019

Q:  What do I need to do as an adviser to approve a student's registration (a.k.a. program) by the end of this week?

A: Nothing. You only needed to grant the student "permission to register" prior to registration starting. There is nothing more to do until the fall, when you will click the "review complete" button.

Q:  What happens if one of my advisees doesn't register for classes by this Friday at 9:30 p.m.?

A:  Students should plan to register during the next online registration window, beginning Monday, June 10. You will still need to have met with them and granted "permission to register." Students will be able to find their registration windows in the usual location in Student Planning.
