New SLIP+ Feature Coming Soon! Reporting Entity Search
We’re continuing to enhance your SLIP+ experience with tools that simplify filing and improve clarity. Coming soon to SLIP+: Reporting Entity Search.
This upcoming feature will make it easier to identify the Broker or Agent responsible for filing a policy for reporting purposes. You’ll be able to search by Policy Number, Insured Name, or State using a “starts with” method. Please note that Policy Number and Insured Name searches will require a minimum of four characters.
Your search results will include:
Policy Number
Insured Name
State
Entity Name
A few important notes:
If no results appear, the policy has not been filed by a Broker or Agent.
If you see the message: “This policy exists but has been filed with a different insurer. Please contact SLIP+ for States staff for assistance at Insurerservices@slipplus.com.” This indicates the policy was filed by an insurer that is not affiliated with your company.
3Q2025 Filing Date Approaching
South Dakota, Tennessee, Wyoming, and Oklahoma are requesting non-admitted insurers writing business in their state to report non-admitted policy data for the Third Quarter 2025.
Colorado is requesting non-admitted insurers writing business in their state to report non-admitted policy data for First Quarter through Third Quarter 2025 (1Q2025–3Q2025).
This data is required to reconcile insurer and agent/direct-procurement filings and to ensure all premium taxes are accurately reported and paid. The full filing schedule is listed below.
Foreign Insurers - Quarterly Filings
Insurers can submit policy data via SLIP or batch filing by XML or CSV formats.
To register for a SLIP account, please visit the SLIP login page and click "Register".
To register for XML batch filing, please contact the SLIP+ staff at batchfiling@slipplus.com and provide the name and NAIC number of the carrier.
