January 2024 First Look
Premium statistics are in for the first month of 2024. Total premium was $1.2 billion, nearly 20% more than January of last year.
Check out the following monthly reports for further details.
New business is up 31%, and renewals are down 16%. This trend was also pervasive for most of the months in 2023.
Commercial Property and Commercial General Liability are still in the lead on premium. Both came in higher than January of 2023, but Commercial Property rose much higher (32%) than Commercial General Liability (5%).
