I'm Proud of my CHS Classmate
As we start the new year, it's a perfect moment to reflect on all we have accomplished and the incredible alumnae with whom we have had the chance to connect. In 2024, we were inspired by so many amazing alumnae with unique stories and accomplishments. We believe these stories can enrich our school community and inspire current students. If you know an alumna with a remarkable journey or accomplishment (big or small), we’d love to share it. Please take a moment to share their journey with us.
A Message from Shina Boparai
Shina Boparai recently joined the Advancement Team as the Manager, Alumnae Relations. Previously, Shina worked for numerous years at the University of British Columbia (UBC), as the Alumni Relations Manager in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and at Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) as the Alumni Relations Officer.

“I'm looking forward to continuing the work of strengthening our connection with you, our incredible alumnae. What makes Crofton House so special is its sense of community, and I’m eager to keep nurturing it alongside all of you, starting with the School’s upcoming trip to Central Canada and NYC in February.”
Crofton House School Career Conference
You’re invited to participate in the Annual CHS Career Conference, where Grade 11 and 12 students will connect with alumnae, parents, and other members of the CHS community. The event is designed to inspire students to explore a wide variety of career pathways, learn from the stories and experiences of others, and practice their networking skills. The event is on Monday, March 10, from 12:20 pm to 3:20 pm, with flexible timing available to accommodate volunteers' schedules. Volunteers are asked to share an hour or two of their time to participate in a series of three to six 20-minute sessions where they will share their career journey and engage with students.
If you’re interested, please complete this brief form. If you have questions, please email advancement@croftonhouse.ca.
Crofton Connect
As communicated in an email to alumnae, we are expanding Crofton Connect to include current parents, Grade 11-12 students, teachers, and staff. This will offer a unique opportunity for students and alumnae to connect and network with CHS community members across the globe. Please contact Shina Boparai, Manager, Alumnae Relations, or Sadhbh Smyth, Coordinator, Alumnae Relations, if you have any questions.
Pen Pal Program
The Pen Pal Program will once again be taking place this semester. The program is a cross-generational initiative that engages Grade 1 students and CHS alumnae residing in Canada. This is a much-loved initiative by our students and alumnae, and we are excited to continue it again this year. More information to follow via email.
