WELL-BEING ACTIVITIES Walk & Talk1pm Monday, 4 Oct NUI Galway Students' Union is holding a socially distant Walk & Talk, leaving from the Kingfisher. This is a great chance to get active, clear your head and meet other students in a safe and socially distanced way. You will also get to explore the beautiful campus grounds and if you're lucky, meet the Dangan Donkeys! Road Safety WeekMonday, 4 Oct Pop into the SU Office to get your FREE Road Safety Resources. ECO Café Nature Connection Walk9.30am Wednesday, 6 Oct Join us for a walk around NUI Galway Campus to get in touch with nature and understand the ways in which it enhances our wellbeing, keeps us alive and helps us thrive. Financial Wellbeing10am Wednesday, 6 Oct Reduce stress about your finances in this one-hour session, where you will learn learn about the various financial supports offered to students and get tips on budgeting & money management. Online Identity & Digital Wellbeing11am Wednesday, 6 Oct During this interactive workshop, participants will receive an overview of the ways in which we can manage, enhance and promote our online identity. Participants are invited to "map' out their digital time. Where are we spending time online and does this reflect our needs and where we would like to be? We'll also look at digital wellbeing and making the most of online engagement, along with some of the newer issues that have arisen in the shift to online learning & engagement. Design your Energy: Optimize Your Energy for a Happier Life12pm Wednesday, 6 Oct During this session you will have the opportunity to look at your energy levels throughout the week and identify the activities that drain your energy and those that energize you. You will learn how to make better choices and organise time to optimize your energy, based on the ‘Stanford Design Your Life’ model. Seas Suas (Introduction) Programme3–5pm Wednesday, 6 Oct Seas Suas is an empathy, well-being & bystander intervention training programme ran by the Chaplaincy & Pastoral Care Centre in NUI Galway. Connection Wellness Workshop4pm Wednesday, 6 Oct As we move deeper into Autumn, ALL NUI Galway students can come along and learn new ways of cultivating Connection with the help of a reusable relaxation technique. Connect Café12pm Thursday, 7 Oct A weekly scheduled coffee/tea/lunch, open for an hour. Meet new people, relax and have a chat in this casual drop-in space.
