The Sustainability in Action Group is here to represent students and staff within the GSA, raising awareness around our effect on the environment. We aim to help the GSA community reduce energy & water use, minimise the use of materials and to re-use more. Anyone can get involved - start a cycling or food group, get involved in events, or speak to us about your curriculum & research. Send us suggestions, and email SiAG about environmental issues that effect you.

Green Reps Needed | We're looking for students and staff who can represent their building, year group or department. A couple of hours a month is all that's needed to help with campaigns and getting information out. Drop Jo a line.

Clothing Swap & Repair | During Freshers Week student Heather Young ran a clothing swap and repair event. If you'd like to volunteer to help run future clothing events, please let us know.

Our Campus | We're taking a long, hard look at our estate with an environmental audit. Help us highlight any possible improvements by emailing John with comments about your building.

Freshers Free Shop | A big Thank You to everyone who donated or came to pick up free stuff at the shop. We'll be doing it all again from late November and running another free shop in January

Student Forum | On 31st August 70 people came to hear natural dyer India Flint talk. More talks are coming - and more ideas for speakers wanted, email John

Energy and Water Saving | The biggest effect we have on the environment is through our buildings. This Autumn help us save energy and water.
