It continues to be an exciting time to work with clients in the Energy Market! Early this year, we shared trends to watch for in 2024, and much of it came true—we saw growth in solar, momentum for offshore wind development on the West Coast, and a continued determination to improve the nation’s transmission network. As is the case with any transition to a new administration in the White House, it’s harder to predict what will happen in the coming years. Based on what I am seeing in the marketplace, we will serve our clients by continuing on our trajectory with solar development and providing emphasis on alignment in the transmission space with grid reliability and upgrades. This means our team will continue to be nimble and adaptive, and part of this will be keeping you informed of important news and updates throughout the year. We have already taken important steps in growing our Energy Market Team to expertly respond to shifts in the market to better serve you, our clients and partners. Stay tuned for more updates and keep an eye out for ESA as a major sponsor at the 2025 American Clean Power Siting & Permitting conference in April—we are thrilled to be a sponsor this year! See you in Seattle! Let’s stay in touch, Sharon
