SUN LIFE DONATES $1M TO BEYOND SPORT FOR ASIA YOUTH BASKETBALL PROGRAM

Leading Canadian financial services company, Sun Life, is partnering with Beyond Sport on a new “Hoops + Health” program to encourage young people to be more physically active and live healthier lives – with a special focus on engaging marginalized youth. Over the course of the next year, communities in Indonesia, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam will enjoy revitalized basketball courts and workshops for coaches as part of the collaboration. Beyond Sport X Under Armour Spotlight: Futbalo Girls and Dragones de Lavapiés


As our #SportForSocialChange retail donation campaign in partnership with Under Armour kicks off today in Germany and Spain, we’re spotlighting the participating charities that are transforming young lives through sport. Today meet Futbalo Girls, which works to break down gender-specific barriers and empower girls through football in Germany, and Dragones de Lavapiés, which promotes dialogue between people of different cultures through football in Spain.

The Beyond Sport X Under Armour campaign helps support non-profit organisations across the UK and Europe that are using sport to inspire and teach valuable life lessons to youth – particularly those that are consistently underserved, excluded or economically disadvantaged. Read More
