NEWMAN COLLEGE TO HOST MARIST BASKETBALL CARNIVAL 2026
Newman College is proud to host the 2026 Marist Basketball Carnival from Sunday 22 – Thursday 26 March, welcoming teams 30 teams from 20 Marist schools across Australia to Perth.
Volunteers Wanted
We’re calling on our parent community to help make this major event a success. If you can lend a hand at any time during the week, we’d love to hear from you. Just email maristbc@newman.wa.edu.au and we will forward you more information about the opportunities available.
Business Sponsorships
We are also seeking businesses within our community who may like to be involved as carnival sponsors. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a major Marist event while gaining exposure to visiting schools and families from across Australia. Email communications@newman.wa.edu.au

NEWMAN COLLEGE APP
The Newman College App provides parents with a user-friendly interface to receive college notifications, view the college calendar, read the newsletter, report absences, communicate with staff, and access external links including SEQTA and the Uniform Shop.
Furthermore, the app includes three dedicated co-curricular sections for Sports, the Arts, and Student Growth, where users can find relevant updates and notices for each of these specific areas.
The app is now available for all parents to download using the links provided below.

UNIFORM SHOP - BELT LOOPS
To support a neat and consistent appearance during our Winter uniform period (Terms 2 and 3), the College has introduced a College black belt to be worn with the College trousers from Term 2, 2026. Families will need to purchase the belt from the Uniform shop for a cost of $20.
If your child’s current trousers do not have loops, the College Uniform Shop can assist with this alteration for a charge of $10 per pair of trousers. Trousers must be cleaned and delivered to the Uniform Shop by Wednesday 25 February 2026.
