Property News December 2021

I had hoped that this year I would be talking of the pandemic as a distant memory but there is the feeling of “here we go again” as the new Omicron variant takes a hold. Nevertheless, as I reflect on the year, I truly appreciate the spirit of all the teams in embracing the challenges we have all faced, and working hard to deliver a sustained high quality service to our valued clients. We will keep doing the same.

It is always appreciated to receive recognition from outside the firm and I applaud the efforts of our agency team who were able to join in celebrating our hat-trick at the Cardiff Property Awards. This is a real accolade, especially after a difficult year.

We have had the pleasure of welcoming new staff to various parts of the business, allowing us to grow new talent for the future. Good staff are key to our success and I thank every staff member for their on-going loyalty and commitment.

We look forward to supporting our existing clients, and welcoming new, in the year ahead and I represent all at Cooke & Arkwright in wishing everybody a happy and healthy  Christmas and New Year.

Llamau Secret Santa

We recently launched Secret Santa fund raising activities for Llamau, a charity whose mission is to eradicate homelessness for young people and vulnerable women in Wales.

Sadly, for thousands of the most vulnerable people in Wales, homelessness is a frightening reality. We want to do what we can to support Llamau and help the homeless to rebuild their futures.

We will be formally adopting Llamau in the New Year as our new chosen charity of the year, having raised over £2,000 for Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff.
