Christchurch Wastewater Treatment Plant update

CANCELLED: Public information session 

We’re getting in touch to let you know that unfortunately we’ve had to cancel the Wastewater Treatment Plant community information session scheduled for tonight (Tuesday 30 July) from 6pm–7pm at St Ambrose Anglican Church. 

We’ve made the decision due to health and safety considerations. The wellbeing of attendees and Council staff is our priority.

We’ll consider options for an alternative in the future. In the meantime, you can find all the information that was going to be shared at the information session on our website.

Where to get help

If you need health support, we have information available on our website. This includes information on Pegasus Health's Partnership Community Workers and contact numbers for Healthline and counselling services.

Stay updated

We want everyone to be able to stay updated on our response and recovery from the treatment plant fire, and we regularly post new information and reports on ccc.govt.nz/wastewaterfire
