Cooperative Container Procurement Program
Bulk Ordering Reusable Bags in 2024

Since 2009, CIF has offered a Cooperative Procurement Program (CCPP) to provide Ontario municipalities and First Nation communities an opportunity to purchase curbside containers at fixed prices, through a secured, competitive tender process.

For this final year of the CCPP, communities can still purchase both blue boxes and reusable bags.

For reusable bags, however, we encourage you to order by the due dates outlined below.

    Reusable Bag Order Due Dates

    • Batch 1: Friday, April 26, 2024
    • Batch 2: Friday, July 19, 2024
    • Batch 3: Friday, September 20, 2024
    • Batch 4: Friday November 22, 2024

The reason for ordering by the due dates is that there is a minimum order quantity of 4,500 reusable bags and bulking orders together helps achieve better delivery times.

To assist those who cannot meet the minimum order quantity, the vendor may combine and coordinate individual orders from multiple communities for generic bags to potentially achieve an order size of 4,500 units (minimum order quantity).

As of this writing, generic bags are $1.42 each plus delivery charges. Customized bags with four colour process printing carry an additional graphic plate charge of $725 per side, if there is different artwork on each side. For generic artwork there is no additional cost.

If you are interested in ordering bags, please contact the vendor, Multi Bag Inc., and mention that you are a community who wants to use the CCPP pricing.
