Staff summer recommendations...
Amphibious Soul: Finding the Wild in a Tame World by Craig Foster A fascinating biography from the Capetonian author and filmmaker. Craig shares stories from his childhood, work on global projects, personal struggles, and deep connection with the richness of the ocean.
The Grandest Game by Jennifer Lynn Barnes A new young adult series from the author of the 'The Inheritance Games'. Seven golden tickets provide entry into a game of riddles and problem solving. Written for lovers of puzzles, word play and mystery. With millions of dollars to be won, not everyone is playing for the prize, or even by the rules.
Happiness Falls by Angie Kim Such a wonderfully unusual read. It had the intrigue and page turning element of a mystery but also made me deeply question my assumptions about science, philosophy, happiness and disability.
