Dear Guidance Counsellors and TY Coordinators
University of Galway is delighted to announce that we are returning to our on-campus Taster Days for 2023. The Taster Days will run from 9.30am to 2pm (approx. timing) and will comprise of a series of mini lectures by the University of Galway team followed by an optional campus tour. The aim of the Taster Days is to allow students get a taste for university lectures and topics and to better understand the range of courses and careers open to them in each area.

We are inviting secondary schools to apply for the Taster Days now. The Taster Days are aimed at TY students, however we welcome participation by Fifth Year students on the Business, Law and Engineering Taster Days.
Full detail available on our Taster Day website below. Refer to the application instructions prior to completing the application form and the closing date for secondary schools applications is: 10th March @ 5pm.
