Riba Awarded ‘A Guide to Office Acoustics’ recently launched by the AIS provides a well structured comprehensive guide to best practice in the design and installation of acoustic solutions.
The starting point for the document was a lack of comprehensive guidance in office acoustics, so in 2009 AIS commissioned a review of available research in office acoustics by Bridget Shield, professor of acoustics in the faculty of engineering, science and the built environment at London South Bank University.
The Acoustic Guide is a comprehensive guide to office acoustics, which will have appeal to first time office occupiers, clients, contractors, suppliers, designers and architects.
