This introductory session will go over the basic neuroscience of mindfulness and meditation practices, as well as inspire ways to engage, and deal with, workplace pressure through mindfulness and meditation tools for managing the self in work environments. Rural Emergency Advanced Clinical Training (REACT+) Date: Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 August 2022 Registration for Rural Health West CPD workshop: Rural Emergency Advanced Clinical Training (REACT+) Bunbury is now open! The two day course will be facilitated by a team of experienced emergency physicians with extensive pre course materials including a USB of the course skills and drills being provided to each participant prior to attending. The REACT+ course includes medical emergencies, major trauma and cardiac arrest in children and adults as well as associated lifesaving procedural skills training. It is highly interactive and participants are predominantly involved in emergency skills stations and simulated scenarios. Open to all Medical Practitioners. DUNSBOROUGH MIND-CRAFT is a psychoeducational program that has been developed as an early intervention and prevention program with a strong focus on building resilience. It is a 6-week innovative social and emotional learning program focused on helping children put together a collection of anxiety management skills and coping strategies that will build their confidence and self-mastery to improve and strengthen the emotional structure of their lives.
