Victoria's Pride Trader
Update #2

Get your business ready to shine as part of the best street party in 2023!

Victoria’s Pride will return with an extravagant street party in Melbourne’s iconic Gertrude and Smith Street precinct on Sunday 12 February 2023.

While our team here at Midsumma are working hard to finalise details, lock in the line-ups, prepare new surprises and sort ALLLL of the logistics, we know you are gearing up to head into a busy summer period of trading - so, we’re coming to you early to share some marketing tools that you can use before the silly season is upon us!

In this update, there is a Social Media Toolkit with free downloads and information about how to get your business onto the Victoria's Pride Trader Directory. Help us to help you promote your Pride participation – tell us about your special events, exhibitions, creative menu options and diner discounts. Here are entries from the 2022 event for inspo.

Do you have ideas but you're not quite sure how to make it happen? Let us know - there might be someone or something we can connect you with.

By now you should have received an official letter from Yarra City Council outlining basic event information including road closure times and management plans. Reach out if you want us to send you a copy.

Have you met Helen or Bec from our team yet? There are a lot of you to chat to so they will continue their trader visits over the next few weeks!

We know you're keen on more event information - and you’re first on the list for updates as details land. Updates will continue to be sent every 2-3 weeks.

We recommend you share this email with your staff, and if you have any questions, suggestions or ideas, please don't hesitate to contact the Victoria's Pride team at vicpride@midsumma.org.au - we're here to help!

Social Media Toolkit

We've put together a social media handbook with everything you need to promote your involvement in Victoria's Pride including: logos, social media frames, banners, and pre-made graphics, along with some top tips on how to craft the perfect post!

Make sure to tag Midsumma in your posts so we can re-share them in the lead-up and on the day!

If you have any concerns or want to discuss anything social media related further, get in touch with Emily Rose at content@midsumma.org.au.

Be in our Trader Directory

Victoria's Pride is the perfect opportunity to showcase your business to thousands of attendees, so we've created an online trader directory to help highlight local businesses in and around the event precinct and also communicate anything special that your business might be doing to celebrate!

This could be special offers, promotion of outdoor seating as ‘front row’ viewing, pride décor; or interactive shop front displays.

If you'd like your business to be listed, please complete the form at the link below!
