Won through a design competition in 2015, the Gradel Quadrangles were revealed this year. The project was listed this week in The Guardian's Top Ten Best Design and Architecture for 2025. Otherwise covered extensively in the press, the project has garnered a number of awards including the Prix Versailles from UNESCO for the World's Most Beautiful Campuses.

Our first major project outside the UK was completed in August. Designed in collaboration with Antwerp-based Bovenbouw Architectuur, Hasselt Beguinage adapts an historic institution to become a new university architecture faculty and a public park. The project was covered in the international press and critic, Rowan Moore, wrote in The Observer, “This is architecture with a high degree of artfulness and craft, of a kind that you don’t often see.”

The practice's first monograph, "Stages," was published by König Books in November. Edited by Moritz Küng and designed by Armand Mevis, the publication covers our first 18 years. Watch David in conversation with Moritz and contributor Ellis Woodman, director of the Architecture Foundation, for the AF Book Week. Read a review in Wallpaper* by Jonathan Bell and buy from all good bookshops including AA Bookshop and Amazon.

After a long search, the practice has found a new studio. Refurbishment works are under way and we will be moving in early 2026. The office is a short walk from our current location on Camden High Street at 11 Pratt Mews, London NW1 0AD. We look forward to welcoming you soon!
