National Simultaneous Storytime

Come and celebrate National Simultaneous Storytime with Coffs Harbour Libraries on Wednesday 24th May at 10.30am at Fitzroy Oval, across the road from the Harry Bailey Memorial Library.

Bring a blanket and join our wonderful library staff for a picnic, storytime and a special reading of this year's book 'The Speedy Sloth' by Rebecca Young and Heather McKenzie.

Now in its 23rd year National Simultaneous Storytime is an annual event where an Australian picture book is read simultaneously across Australia at 11am.

Wrap up of Easter School holiday activities

Coffs Harbour Libraries were delighted to see the craft and colouring in activity table for children put to good use at each branch during the Easter school holidays.

Families were able to drop in at their convenience to make a paper hat, do some colouring in or play some Board Games. Parents and carers appreciated having their children happily engaged in a craft activity while they borrowed books and accessed printing services without the worry of having to book for set times.

It was great to see lots of different ages involved in making paper hats and creatively decorating them.

Winner of the Creative Journal Art Pack

Congratulations to Josie Fidge the winner of our Easter School holiday creative journal draw.

Toormina Library turned 25

A special morning tea was held to celebrate 25 years at Toormina Library.

It’s been 25 years since Toormina Library opened in its current location at 48 Minorie Drive in 1998. We're so proud to be a part of the community and it was a pleasure to celebrate with our library members.
