Career advisers' information session

The mid-year online information session provides career advisers and teachers with the latest updates on courses, admissions, key dates, upcoming events, pathways and scholarships. Our expert staff will share practical information and resources to help you guide your students through their decision-making and university application journey.
Plus, have all your questions answered during the live Q&A session.
2026 Gadalung Program
In person event: Monday 28 September–Thursday 1 October
Expressions of Interest (EOIs) are now open for the 2026 Gadalung Program. This fully funded program is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in Years 10 and 11 from across Australia, giving them the opportunity to reconnect with the University of Sydney, explore future study pathways, and build on the experiences from their previous visit.
Places are limited, so make sure to apply early. EOIs close on Friday 31 July.

Bachelor of Commerce updates for 2027
The University of Sydney Business School has introduced updates to the Bachelor of Commerce from 2027 following consultation with students and industry partners.
The changes are designed to enhance the student learning experience through a more integrated curriculum, updated learning outcomes and a streamlined structure for majors and minors.
The updates are now reflected on the Bachelor of Commerce Sydney courses page. More information about the updates will be presented at the upcoming career advisers' mid-year information session and students will be able to learn more at our Why study business with Sydney webinar.
Scholarships at Sydney webinar
