On-campus residential event: 8th - 12th December 2025 Registrations are still open for our 2025 Gadalung Residential program! This week-long residential program is open to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in Year 11 (going into year 12 in 2026). We may also consider students currently in Year 9 and 10 who demonstrate strong interest and engagement in exploring university pathways. This program gives students the chance to experience university life, explore world-class facilities and meet current university students and staff. Students will learn useful skills for their final years at school and get a heads up for their future at university and beyond. Applications close Sunday, 19 October, so make sure you get your applications in ASAP! Come and join us for Ngara: Future Focus 2025 On-campus event: Friday 24 October 2025, 9:30 am – 2:30 pm (AEST) Join us for an action-packed day on campus designed to empower Year 11 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students (starting Year 12 in 2026) from metropolitan Sydney. You’ll explore the University of Sydney’s rich history, discover a range of post-school pathways, and learn about the wide variety of programs and support services available. Throughout the day, you’ll gain a clearer understanding of the opportunities at the University and how to make the most of them. This event is also a chance to build meaningful connections with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander staff and current students, helping you feel supported, inspired, and confident as you plan your future education journey. University of Sydney Community Festival On-campus event: Saturday 8 November 2025 The University of Sydney Community Festival invites you to bring your family and friends, explore behind the scenes and discover our world-leading research in a fun, hands-on way! Whether you're a local, graduate, future alum, or just curious, this is the perfect opportunity for you to get to know the University at a free, family-friendly day out. Sydney Pharmacy First Nations Camp for Year 9 and 10 students 18 – 22 January 2026 This 4-day camp is a pathway to engage First Nations students in the opportunities and benefits of pursuing a career in pharmacy. This program has the potential to build capacity of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples ready to enter their future profession of pharmacy - who may in turn make this important health service more accessible to Australia’s First Nations people.
