Welcome to Peter O'Rourke - new Researcher Development Manager
Hi! I’m Peter and I have recently joined the team as the Researcher Development Manager (Research Staff), which means I’m responsible for overseeing the training programme for research staff and will be working closely with the community of Early Career Researchers across our campuses. I have only been in the post for a few weeks and in that short time I have been enormously impressed by the entrants to our Images of Research competition and hearing about the different and exciting ideas there are for Researcher-led Initiatives.
I want to make sure that your training needs are met, whatever stage of your research career you are at, so please drop me an email with any suggestions or ideas you have p.orourke@exeter.ac.uk – I would be really happy to meet on campus or online to talk your ideas over. I am also keen to understand Early Career Research experiences and hear about both positive and negative experiences.
