By-election nominations reminderNominations for the Innes ward Community Board by-election close at noon this Thursday 22 December, and candidates are asked not to leave it to the last day as incomplete information can lead to an invalid nomination. There is one nomination to date. The vacancy was created after the successful candidate in the 2022 local elections, Shreejana Chhetri, resigned. There were nine candidates for the two Innes Community Board vacancies in the 2022 local elections. Candidates are encouraged to come forward now so they can get all the information they need. Voting for the new board member starts on Thursday 26 January 2023 and closes on Friday 17 February at noon. A reminder about bins these holidaysThere are no changes to bin collection days over the Christmas and New Year period. People should put their bins out by 6am on their normal collection day.
