The checklist is a comprehensive resource that covers the broad areas of transitioning staff/students/equipment, human or animal subject research, intellectual property, export control, proposal and award management, Environmental Health & Safety, Human Resource actions, Conflicts of Interest, as well as data and record retention. IRB Updates The IRB updated its recruitment guidelines (now has more information on use of social media), and its guidelines on use of social media to conduct research. Copies of the updated guidelines are posted on the IRB page https://www.chapman.edu/research/integrity/irb/policies.aspx. When an external IRB (not Chapman’s) is the IRB of Record, the Chapman PI must include the external IRB-approved recruitment materials in the “request to rely” application within Cayuse. That way, the Chapman IRB is aware of externally approved recruitment materials (e.g., flyers) before they are seen by the Chapman community. IACUC Facility Inspection The next IACUC facility inspection is anticipated to be held on November 15, 2024. ![]() IS&T Research Computing Monthly Hands-on Workshops!
