We are excited to introduce a new ministry web site dedicated to helping new believers start their journey as a Christian.
This edition of our volunteer newsletter is focused on giving you a look into this new resource and the various elements we have incorporated. You will see in this newsletter that we built the site with six main sections. We have provided a brief preview of each below. We also have a special gift for those new believers looking to really dive into the Word with community. You are free to start sharing this new resource with seekers making a profession of faith or anyone needing spiritual direction and support.

New Life - Born Again
This first section goes over the salvation decision and our new identity in Christ. It includes links to articles covering eternity, salvation, baptism and other aspects of our decision to follow Jesus.
Prayer
Prayer is a gift and invitation to talk with and be in God’s presence. This section reviews the reasons we pray, how we can pray, the Lord’s Prayer, and helpful guides for new believers just learning to pray.
The Bible - God’s Word
We know from talking with others that it can be intimidating or difficult for someone picking up the Bible for the first time. This section discusses the various aspects of reading, studying and trusting the Bible.
Community & Worship
We know that God created us for community and we each have a role in the universal church. This section gets into what is the church, the reasons for worship, and how to connect with healthy christian community.
Obedience & Change
We do not believe we are saved by works but our faith in Christ starts producing fruit as we start becoming the person God created us to be. This section covers what it means to surrender, how to increase spiritual maturity and finding purpose.
Common Struggles & Questions
This section acknowledges that our spiritual journey will have difficult seasons and times of struggle. It includes resources covering:
- anxiety/worry
- forgiveness,
- guilt/shame
- hearing God
- porn/sexual sin
- spiritual warfare
- tithing
- vocation/serving God
Special Resource Available for New Believers
We have had the blessing of partnering with Time To Revive over the past year. They have an incredible course for new believers to study scripture together and go through the Bible over two years. We have seen two full classes (Kenya and Philippines) come from professions of faith that occurred from chats in Echo. The new site has a promo code for new believers to register for this class at no cost and enjoy the robust teaching, videos, questions and devotionals that are part of this course. You are free to share this gift.
